I am a friendly and experienced teacher who commits to giving my students a high quality and inspiring musical education. My vision for my students is that they can enjoy their music practice. I achieve this by ensuring they are well equipped with sufficient tools for practicing effectively and in a healthy way. I tailor my flexible teaching approach to suit the needs of each student, and regularly review this approach to ensure they are receiving the kind of music education that is most valuable to them. I am happy to teach students of any age and level.
I am always looking for more motivated and enthusiastic students to share my passion with and to whom I can pass down some of the gems I have learned from my own incredible teachers.
I am currently in the last stages of a Master of Music Performance supported by a Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarship.
I have a First Class Honours degree in Flute Performance from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Auckland.
